Three I HATE about Brush home life that Brits are weirdly proud of — and will lecture you on if you complain: bulky, annoying plugs ("safest in the world!"), no hair dryers in the bathroom (women can't be trusted with electronics near water), & clothes drying rack (much better for the environment!).

Rep. @AOC: I understand that Vance believes shooting a young mother of three in the face three times is an acceptable America that he wants to live in, and I do not. That is a fundamental difference between Vance and I. I do not believe that the American people should be assassinated in the street.

We keep saying: "AI will handle the boring stuff, and humans will supervise." But the problem is--as AI reliability improves, it becomes really hard to motivate a human to conscientiously monitor it.

In a new WP with Gerard Cachon, we describe the "human-AI contracting paradox."

The best new year resolutions focus on what you can control, not external validation.

Choose to write more over gaining followers. Plan to master job skills, over chasing promotions.

When you challenge yourself to simply be a better person, the rest tends to follow.

Nearly 4 years old is a really fun age for Christmas. She was SOOOO excited and loved all her presents — except the Furblet. Never the Furblet.

Some claim larger companies have lower risk-tolerance because they lost the ability to take bets.

But also, now they actually have something to lose.

Also, the "success" case has to be larger.

This is due to competence, not incompetence.
The fundamental forces of scale
These forces make larger companies slower and more difficult to execute, but also more effective when harnessed and leveraged.
