In the concentration camp universe, this is what's known as a filtration camp. A government preemptively takes a whole class of people to interrogate and detain extrajudicially in order to inflict duress on them while arbitrarily assessing their (supposed) culpability.
This is a truly horrifying memo. It says that the policy of the US government will now be to proactively seek out and arrest likely tens of thousands of refugees who entered legally under Biden and subject them to detention, where they will be interrogated about their status.

Before conservatives appropriated "wokeness" as a political pejorative for things that give white people the heebie jeebies, Black people used the term to describe a state of social consciousness necessary to resist white supremacy.

Either way, it also describes Jesse Jackson.

Whether you're an anti-woke conservative or an anti-racist lefty, you should thank Jesse Jackson.

ICE can’t be trusted. Moving forward, we’ll only mark sites 🔴 on the map once a deed is officially recorded with the state.

A page taken out of the Mike Johnson playbook. When presented with facts that no sane person could disagree with, the go-to Republican tactic is to plead ignorance.
State Rep. Brian Lorenz (R-Powell) underwent a quick education about Leslie Wexner and Jeffrey Epstein on Tuesday.

"I'm tip-toeing into it," he said.
