Deplatforming Nick Fuentes was what kept him from being mainstreamed, it worked. Elon's replatforming of all of these people and allowing actual Nazis around is why the US government is now publishing white supremacist propaganda regularly.

This is not a new debate. Deplatforming works.
Mind-blowing stuff from Robby Soave.

"Podcasters should not avoid Fuentes." Of course they should. Deplatforming Nazis is good. Not amplifying them is not censorship.

Also laughable to claim Fuentes has been deplatformed. His growing reach is directly tied to MAGA destigmatizing naked racism.
Deplatforming Nick Fuentes Won't Stop Antisemitism
Tucker Carlson's interview of the right-wing podcaster has begun a debate on how best to combat antisemitic, racist, and white nationalist views.

In her dissent from today's decision—Mahmoud v. Taylor—Justice Sotomayor says that the court's holding "threatens the very essence of public education," and that its "reverberations" will be felt "for generations." This is a very heartfelt and mournful dissent. www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/24p...

Ironically, in the 1920s Stephen Miller's grandparents, Jewish immigrants who settled in central Pennsylvania where they created the inter-generational wealth that helped fund Miller's lifestyle, were attacked with this exact same rhetoric from the immigration restrictionists of their day, the KKK.
Careful guys, if you don’t control migration you might turn out like <checks notes> the greatest, wealthiest city in the world.

Belatedly noticing that when the govt asked SCOTUS to clarify its order in the 3d-country removals case today (DVD), it also asked it to bar Judge Murphy from issuing any more injunctions without SCOTUS's preclearance or, alternatively, to remove Murphy from the case. It sees SCOTUS as its enforcer.

When political violence is met with silence, when war is waged without debate, and when fear drives policy—Congress has a choice. Too often, it chooses inaction. This week, I wrote about the cost of that choice—and why we can’t afford it any longer: bit.ly/4kZn7rX

As I just flagged, this has been replaced with something which is arguably worse; requiring that basically every plaintiff seeking a preliminary injunction against the federal government pay millions or billions of dollars in "security" to pay for "costs" to the federal government if they later win.

This story exemplifies the reason people are outraged at ICE.

This guy did nothing wrong. He broke not a single law. He was a guard at a base that housed US troops. He came here legally through humanitarian parole. He had an asylum application pending. Yet the Trump admin had ICE grab him anyway.

I cannot stress enough how much of a Def Con 1 moment this is. Federal judges fear that the President of the United States will stand down security for judges in retaliation for adverse decisions.

This is such a huge story.
This should be seen as evidence of the crisis: federal judges fear that Trump will order U.S. Marshals to stand down on securing the safety of judges whose decision they don’t like. This is just devastating.
