That’s me right now, for the second time- unable to produce enough milk for my baby. I am so thankful that formula exists, because it kept my son healthy and alive and is now doing the same for my daughter. #FedIsBest
My wife breastfed the best she could, but our kids needed supplemental formula. She broke down in tears because she felt like she was a failure for needing to supplement. Assholes like this do so much damage by feeding into mothers' fears. Fed is best.

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.

I will never understand why people think “thou shalt not take thy Lord’s name in vain” means don’t say “oh my God” rather than “don’t use your religion to justify your selfish endeavors and commit atrocities”…. Because there’s been a whole lot of blasphemy going on 👀. (And I’m not even religious!)
