Virginia's legislative session only started yesterday, and it was a very big day.
The House already passed four constitutional amendments on Day 1:
—protect abortion rights
—repeal the same-sex marriage ban
—allow mid-decade redistricting
—greatly expand voting rights restoration.
Next: Senate.

I have traveled these American streets a fair bit with my job and let me tell you the thing about Boston I have absolutely never ever seen in another major city. People slam into cars to parallel park and then slam into cars to get out of the parallel park and nobody lifts an eyebrow.

Bud was one of a kind. I got inappropriately drunk at his bar the Goose Hollow Inn in 1984 when I first moved to PDX and was extremely surprised when my drunk ass saw a dude with a handlebar mustache riding one of those old velocipede bicycles and it was freaking Bud Clark riding to his bar.
