Lead. Arsenic. Formaldehyde. Microplastics. These don’t belong in our waterways or in our bodies. But many products, including many personal care products, still contain these toxic health threats. Urge your RI legislators to take action. Send a message today!

Love. This.
Hats off to Amber, our New England Zero Waste Organizer, for never being afraid to DIG IN to the issues!
She was joined by other local orgs to sort the contents of targeted public trash cans and note what we throw away now.
That way we can see the impact of new zero waste policies!
We've been awarded a @massdep.bsky.social Reduce, Reuse, Repair Microgrant!
We're working with @boston.gov, JP Zero Waste, @beyondplastics.bsky.social Greater Boston, and Recirclable to help restaurants on the Center/South JP Main Street incorporate zero waste practices!
Step 1: waste audit! (Ew!)

👻Scary news from Cali. 💀
Proud to say RI is a leader in protecting consumers from toxic #PFAS.
Booooo! 😡 @governor.ca.gov just sided w/ the chemical industry over Californians’ health. By vetoing SB682, he kept toxic #PFAS in cookware.

Six other states & retailers like Target have already transitioned away from PFAS toward safer solutions like cast iron. He should have ensured CA did too.
