I post a lot about climate policy, my love of Providence & Rhode Island, & my cute pets.
Congratulations to Trinity Rep on the groundbreaking on their amazing new ADA accessible space. Thank you for being such an amazing partner with the City & creating a shared-use plaza that will also retain our vital skate park! What a win-win-win for our community!

Sue is the absolute best kind of public servant. She'd be a huge asset to Rhode Islanders in statewide office! @sueanderbois.bsky.social
UPDATE - Providence Councilor @sueanderbois.bsky.social confirms this is for LG.

She’ll be joining a field of two other Democrats running: Lt. Gov. @sabinamatos.bsky.social
and fmr. state Sen. @cindycoyneri.bsky.social

May see 1-2 other Dems join. @billbartholomew.bsky.social? Councilman Xay?
INBOX: Providence Councilor @sueanderbois.bsky.social is holding a campaign kickoff event Wednesday, but it doesn’t specify which office.

Remember: There is nothing natural or inevitable about extreme inequality; it’s the result of an economic system that values wealth and power over human dignity and justice.

It doesn't have to be this way.

Thanks to the Task Force for a super productive meeting last night! Someone asked recently - how are you guys getting so much done after decades without change?!

Grateful for time with amazing colleagues from across the east coast who have become dear friends.

Proud of my work bestie & I for ‘passing the torch’ on a team we’ve led in our ‘spare time’ for 3 years and having 5 people needed to fill the gaps. (Yes, I literally brought torches)

The depth of the shame of a country this wealthy and abundant allowing its people to go hungry is impossible to measure. The fact that a handful of people could fix this by paying their fair share of taxes while still remaining obscenely wealthy makes it even worse.

Do Rhode Islanders care about potentially being shortchanged AGAIN by Rhode Island Energy to the tune of nearly 40 million dollars?

Got questions for the governor regarding why he thinks that’s a good idea?

We do. And we’re fighting back.

Thank you Warwick Post!
