Congratulations to Trinity Rep on the groundbreaking on their amazing new ADA accessible space. Thank you for being such an amazing partner with the City & creating a shared-use plaza that will also retain our vital skate park! What a win-win-win for our community!

Thanks to the Task Force for a super productive meeting last night! Someone asked recently - how are you guys getting so much done after decades without change?!
Let’s keep going!

Thank you to Zack Scott and the PPSD team for answering nearly 2 hours of questions on school construction in Ward 3. Big appreciation to the 60ish ward 3 residents for showing up and asking such thoughtful and thorough questions!

Happy Halloween Ward 3! Come on out to our 3rd annual Trunk or Treat!

Grateful for time with amazing colleagues from across the east coast who have become dear friends.

Proud of my work bestie & I for ‘passing the torch’ on a team we’ve led in our ‘spare time’ for 3 years and having 5 people needed to fill the gaps. (Yes, I literally brought torches)

Food security is increasingly challenging - and I was glad to join Councilor Sanchez to support the Aquidneck Community Table, led by my good friend Rose Jones.

Checked out This is Not a Drill at the Globe Docs Film Festival in Cambridge — with a follow on Q&A with film participant and PVD resident Peter Case.

Amazing & inspiring film about community activists taking on Big Oil in their communities & winning! Check it out!

I heard there’s been some speculation of additional mayoral candidates in Providence & #CaptainRuggles *is* currently running for re-election for mayor of 5th St but would welcome the opportunity to Ruggle the whole city.

Don’t forget - this is tonight!! I’m looking forward to joining some fantastic RIers + the author of Why Nothing Works on this panel tonight!

Ward 3! I know there are lots of good questions about proposed construction at both MLk School & Hope High. PPSD & RIDE staff will be on hand to discuss the proposed construction and answer all of our questions.

Join us! I’ll also be available for overall neighborhood & City updates and questions!

Proud to celebrate Miriam’s groundbreaking on their new, updated facility in Ward 3. We are grateful for Miriam as a neighbor in this community and I hope their next 100 years of operation in this space is even more successful than the first. Thank you for continuing to invest in our community.

My friend’s cat has started finding scissors and carrying them around the house in his mouth. This is the most ‘2025’ energy.

These are all taken on separate days with different scissors.

Thank you Councilman Roias for inviting me to talk with your constituents about what we can do about high electricity prices!

And thank you Principal Scott for hosting us at E Cubed!

Thank you Kate Sayles for the lovely sketch about my best buddy Captain Ruggles - the Mayor of 5th St! Hearing a song about my dog sung on stage at AS220 is now a core memory.

Thank you for joining me for the show, Lou! (The sign is a spoof off of how I met Ruggles at the Balise Toyota in Warwick)

I interrupt your doomscroll with Captain Ruggles earnestly wondering why you aren’t wrestling with him *right now*

Thank you to the Graduate Labor Organizers & all organizers for inviting me to today’s rally. Our communities stand together to fight for the rights of all people against a federal administration that is hostile to our freedoms - and I will always have your back in this fight.

Brief visit to the mothership yesterday in DC to chat about our priorities in the northeast.

I will be forever grateful for & inspired by the brilliant & dedicated people I’ve worked with here.

Insufficient lighting is correlated w/too many of the crashes along North Main.

After learning this, I worked hard to identify funds & cut through (too much!) red tape to add new lighting across the corridor - including these new pedestrian-level lights near the high traffic area near Charlesgate.

Sometimes when I’m out late for meetings or event, my husband texts me pictures of #CaptainRuggles snoozing so I don’t miss out.

Excited to participate in Walktober with AARP Rhode Island! Thank you for supporting walkability across our City & State for neighbors of all abilities & ages!

I had no idea Edgar Allan Poe had a Providence connection! He met his fiancée in a rose garden on Benefit St (that’s still there - in Ward 3!)

Thank you to my Benefit St neighbors for inviting me to an author event & neighborhood gathering! I think this will be the perfect October book!
