This excerpt from @adamserwer.bsky.social's latest points to something that Alex Pretti's vocation as a nurse brought to mind: What we're seeing in Minneapolis is resistance, but resistance based on care.

I've said before that what we need is a care economy. What we're getting is a care resistance.

One of the big trends in opposition activism during Trump 2.0 has been the localism of protest. This level of organizing is pretty astonishing to watch, and anyone who insists that there haven't been any protests against Trump is simply ignoring it www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archiv...

Yeah, it's a shame. The anglo world really overlooks the fastest-growing advanced economy at almost 3% this year, boosted by domestic demand (wage and pension increases, sectoral industrial policy), cheaper and cleaner energy and an open approach to immigration. With a proud leftwing government.
Spain remains Franco, bullfighting and siestas for many in northern Europe, perhaps especially the UK.

There is a direct correlation between how fake your job is and how much value you see in AI
A study by Dayforce shows 87% of executives use AI for work, compared to 57% of managers and just 27% of employees.

I think this explains the massive disconnect we see in how CEOs talk about AI versus everyone else. It also raises the question of how useful it truly is for frontline work?
Execs are embracing AI more than their employees are, new research suggests
Research from HR software company Dayforce suggests that executives are leaning into AI far more than their employees.

interesting yet unsurprising stuff happening in catalonia: the recently founded right-wing extremist, separatist (!?) party aliança jumps in electoral predictions from 2 to 20 (!) MPs in the Catalan regional parliament, as Vox (right-wing extremist, anti-separatist) grows slightly up to 13 MPs

Aquí us deixo la meva anàlisi d'una enquesta del CEO històrica (si es compleix).

Los precios los dispara la demanda especulativa, no la residencial.
