Off with the economists' heads! Trump chief economist Hassett says Fed research economists should be personally punished because their paper found that foreigners don't bear tariff costs. The economics profession needs to wake up. Trump will destroy America's base of knowledge.

This is the kind of thing white supremacists have been doing to Emmett Till’s memorial for decades.

It’s wild to see them do this to a white woman who the entire world saw extrajudicially murdered.
Someone doused Renee Good’s Minneapolis memorial and a nearby pile of wood with gasoline and started a fire at about 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Jesse Jackson's 1984 Democratic Convention speech is historic and profound. Very inspiring. It is still relevant as ever, perhaps more so, to the nation's current political predicament. Rest in peace, Jesse Jackson.

Federal judge begins opinion with a passage from Orwell's 1984. Trump tried to erase history.
read that first paragraph if nothing else:
Federal court orders Trump administration to restore historical panel exhibits at President’s House in Philadelphia.

Oh cool. Since the Trump administration is using AI to determine voter eligibility and whether you are in the country legally, I'm sure nothing will go wrong.
OpenAI ”acknowledged in its own research that LLMs will always produce hallucinations due to fundamental mathematical constraints that cannot be solved through better engineering, marking a significant admission from one of the AI industry’s leading companies.”

Watched the HBO documentary , "The Dark Money Game." Highly recommend it. Two episodes "Ohio Confidential," and "Wealth of the Wicked." Relevant to how we got to where we are. But also quite disturbing and makes me wonder how we reverse the billionaire control.

The cause for closure of airspace in El Paso just gets worse and worse. DHS tried to use laser weapons, given to them by Hegseth, without telling anybody. A party balloon is dead, a major city's air traffic is shut down, and the military is mad.

Fuentes, yesterday: “Our #1 political enemy is women because women constrain everything, every conversation, every man, everything. They have to be imprisoned. They are the ones that are hurting the fertility rate. They're the ones making us sympathetic to poor people, which are also brown people.”
