I know the knee jerk impulse is to assume the men who use these apps will ignore real women but they won’t. These apps literally condition men to see women as objects, without agency, and that paired with the “male loneliness epidemic” is a ticking fucking time-bomb.

We need to have a serious talk about the way "AI companion" apps not only prey on the vulnerable, but are priming their users to ignore consent and to conflate love with control.
We need AI regulations across so many sectors, but this area is particularly horrifying.

The post office is a Constitutionally required service, not a business. Profitability should no more be expected than from any govt department. Less so, since govt depts aren't Consitutionally required.
The USPS faces a tight squeeze. With fewer people using the mail, it’s lost more and more money: $9 billion in the 12 months ending in September alone.
