Italian voice actor Carlo Bononi was the voice of all of the characters on Pingu. A trained clown by trade, he used a theater technique called grammelot, which consists of "speaking" in a mix of babbled gibberish noises. He improvised all the voices live and unscripted.

Allow inequality, allow millions of people to receive limited education, wait a few years and this is what you get.
Bluesky can sneer etc - but he's talking in terms his voters understand.

"National Literacy Institute; 45 million people in the United States are functionally illiterate and read below a 5th grade level. More than half of American adults read below a 6th grade level and 21 percent are illiterate. "
Q: What goals do you have for '26 in Congress for your agenda?

TRUMP: I have great executive orders. Like, water coming out of a sink. The water wouldn't come out. They had all sorts of restrictions. I took them off. Straws. They don't have to be paper anymore. I'd like to have all that confirmed.

All governments seem too spineless to hold social media companies legally liable for hosting that stuff and so the response is "well they say they're trying but there's still so much terrible content we'll just ban kids from using it".

This is giving in to the massively wealthy tech companies.

I'm still astounded that the debate around banning children from using social media seems to be SOLELY based on "they see images of suicide/beheadings/animal torture/pornography/encouragement to racial hatred and terrorism".

These things shouldn't be on there anyway.

Bowie: The Final Act documentary is good - looks at the later years when he was walking away from mega-fame / falling out of view - Tin Machine, drum and bass etc.

I hadn't realised there were clips from his 1971 Glastonbury performance floating about.
