This game system has given me the most funny, intense, heart-wrenching, hot-as-hell experiences I've ever had in 20+ years of playing TTRPGs. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Pick it up, grab some friends and become the beautiful, wretched freak-things you always were meant to be.

fundamentally, i come from the assumption that any game can be played safely, that any kind of bleed can be managed at the right table, and that we shouldn't be making games for the least safe, least discursive tables.

on a practical note, gretchen is now out about $1400 a month (DC’s opening page rate is still $70 for writers, yeah?) so please go buy her books (MANHUNT, CUCKOO, and BLACK FLAME) and—very important!—leave short, *glowing* reviews about them online to help with the algorithm
