So I've switched to Linux Mint for work and games and it was frictionless. Obviously, as Narrative, I don't need much in the way of specialized programs (Blender, PS, etc.), but so far, I haven't run into anything I can't do. There is, currently, no need for Windows, and I'm kinda blown away.

I'm not one to claim AI solely on the quality of the work, but there are baffling choices made in Amazon's Daisy Jones and the Six that I just can't square otherwise. It feels like the book was fed to an AI, because it deviates constantly from the source material, but seemingly to no useful end.

Arc Raiders had some bs reasoning for using GenAI on the VO, but also, like, to what end? The VO sounds awful. Bad enough it would have been an upgrade if they'd just asked for volunteers from the dev team to voice characters, seeing as they were so worried about time and money.

I need everybody to read this and understand what’s going on. These are spouses of US citizens in the country legally. They have entry clearance and green cards, they’ve passed background checks and have no criminal records. ICE is taking them anyway.

I need everybody to read this and understand what’s going on. These are spouses of US citizens in the country legally. They have entry clearance and green cards, they’ve passed background checks and have no criminal records. ICE is taking them anyway.
