What the fuck is up with American chocolate candies? Hershey, Nestle, M&M Mars. We threw out our leftover candy because the chocolate tasted like sugared brown candlewax.

The rare and immeasurably sick way to respond to people questioning your art by responding with your art.

I was researching human flight and, like, the Wright Brothers achieved flight in 1903 (when they weren't to busy perving on their sister) meanwhile in Istanbul (1633) Lagâri Hasan Çelebi may have survived a flight on a 7-winged rocket powered by gunpowder.

When more gets done for free at the park NEXT to your convention than AT your convention, you shouldn't be crowing about how your ad misfires are a good thing actually.

Executives don't actually think AI will help teams innovate, they just think it will mean doing things cheap and fast.

They are gutting the medium you love to line their pockets and it should piss you off.
Amazon is laying off 14,000 people, with the video games division hit in particular, and others in its corporate workforce.

The layoff message to employees highlights how AI will "innovate much faster than ever before".

Imagine being one of the last Uruk-hai to be given the white hand of Saruman, but he was tired from touching so many faces that day and sorta missed your face so you just got like three fingers and a smudge, and now you just have to go through the whole war like that until Aragorn decapitates you.

I often think the reason respected actors sign up for work with bigoted creatives is that, if they didn't, it would reinforce a standard of moral accountability they could potentially suffer from.

Because these aren't starving artists. Saying no wouldn't change their lives in any meaningful way.

When I look at really good brisket, I realize that if someone worshiped my corpse with endless hours of smoking, added generationally perfected seasoning, then served me at a party of their loved ones who think I'm absolutely delicoous, Id be LESS mad about being murdered by a cannibal.

Hard agree, as someone who also cut their teeth modding Fallout games. Since Bethesda picked up Fallout, it refused to engage with it's thesis: Capitalism Will Cause Our Doom. Fallout has become an esthetic, a hollow Disneyland version of itself, incurious about its own subject.
As someone who learned how to make games by modding Fallout 4, it has been deeply strange watching Fallout become more and more the antithesis of its own core narrative tenants over the past 10-ish years. And at the same time, it felt almost inevitable from the start?

There needs to be a conversation about how quickly the military & law enforcement services stepped in line with the administration's demands regardless of legal precedent. Video after video depicts a system of power absolutely horny at thought of putting the boot down on their fellow citizens.

pretty much everyone understands that a very wealthy person or corporation can subvert democracy by purchasing a politician or even a whole party, fewer people seem ready to accept that if they can do that, then they can just buy the opposition, too

First: "You can use it for anything! It can do all your work for you! Everyone's using it! It's super effective future tech from the future!"
