A brand new The Dispatches From Appalachia is out now! In 1921 over 100 West Virginia coal miners, many of them immigrants, were jailed without fair trails or due process. This is the story of what came of that and the stain it left on the soul of our people.

I always think it is a trip that for years, in X-men, Xavier was presented as the good guy...

...and real life outside of comic books made Magneto the hero and no amount of effort by any creator can change the fact that 'Xavier era' X-men doesn't resonate like Magneto Era X-men.

So I wonder who HHS/RFK Jr. wants to offer contracts. Without the review of public commentary (which let’s face it, it’s mostly the press, healthcare industry people, and law experts reviewing these decisions) HHS will reach new highs of bureaucratic opaqueness.
NEW: RFK Jr.'s "radical transparency" means ending a 54-year-old transparency policy.

A Nixon-era policy gave the public the ability to comment on HHS decisions relating to “public property, loans, grants, benefits, or contracts.“ RFK Jr. ended that on Friday. www.lawdork.com/p/rfk-jr-rad...

democrats—resist the urge to look at these people and say “oh you are very stupid” and instead say, “here is a voter who looked at biden and kamala and saw no solutions for the most pressing problems in their life.”

how do you fix that? bold rhetoric and action to back it up. and better propaganda.

Damn right.
Never forget that when Appalachia was under water - JD Vance , for the second time, was nowhere to be found.

I guess Peter Theil didn’t give that ‘legal moonshine’ Appalachian permission.

So, for those following along - they’ve now suspended emergency services. Water is up big time in Betsy Layne and Pikeville.

Peoples homes are destroyed, cars washed away, and we won’t be able to see the cost in lives and damage till after the water recedes.
