First this is monumentally appalling. Second, how do you compalin about something that is incontravertibly historically true and provably happened?
Oh I know, instituionalised racism.

1/ The US Government has quietly removed a memorial to Black soldiers who died in World War II from the Netherlands American Cemetery in Margraten, South Limburg. The move follows a complaint from the right-wing Heritage Foundation to the American Battle Monuments Commission. ⬇️

On this day in 1861, the first documented game of what became Canadian football was played at the University of Toronto. It was a practice game between students and it predates the first recorded American football game by eight years.

This isn't going very well.
Offence has shown nothing and 25 yards in penalties in the red zone is a killer.
I'd be kicking garbage cans if I was coaching.

It's #Ticats game day!!
Nervous for this one. Should be a fun one to watch. #Alouettes are strong, tho.
Will be watching this one from the couch - primarily because our stadium could use about 3,000 more seats! (Nothing wrong with sellouts, tho!)

Not sure why they wouldn't just build another 8,500 seater at Landsdowne? Is it that much more expensive than 5,900?
Seems like you could easily tarp some areas for the '67s and it'd put the arena in the mix for an NLL team, too.
Seems short sighted, regardless if the Sens move downtown.

From Nov. 7 to Nov. 10, 1913, a monster storm raged over the Great Lakes.
The storm sank 12 ships and took the lives of 250 people.
It was one of the most destructive natural disasters in the recorded history of the Great Lakes.
This is the story of the White Hurricane.

I have many observations about this budget, including around the climate-competitiveness stuff (some of which will be published soon enough). One broader one for now: I’m not sure this government has yet figured out how to tell a coherent and compelling story.
