Kind, decent, and compassionate, Pope Francis was badly out of step with contemporary western culture.

I wish a joyous Easter to all who observe on the western calendar. May faith in God always be a force for compassion, charity, and mutual recognition of human dignity - never for arrogance, prejudice, and persecution.
