What’s crystallizing for me about AI is that it’s objectively pretty lousy at “right-brained” tasks and the right-brained community is correctly upset about it.
However it’s great at a huge variety of “left-brained” tasks that there’s little benefit in learning because they don’t often repeat.

Seen some chortling over this, but my assumption has been that Mamdani would likely attempt to work out a deal to have the city pay discounted* fares direct to the MTA.
*from what I’ve read the MTA might end up recouping more money than they have been.

It’s surprising that people complain about paywalls so often when about 75% of the time Reader mode gets around it.
Sometimes you have to go into it and then refresh, and/or quickly tap the reader button before the popup loads, but it’s pretty reliable.
