I picked up BoTW for the switch 2 because I originally played the game on Wii U and wanted to replay with the better framerate.

It's nice so far. Good game built for wandering around.

Downside is that it is quite heinous that this remake of a game from 2 generations ago doesn't include its dlc.

I love kid logic
4 year old: “why are some families two dads”

me: “sometimes two boys fall in love and decide to start a family”

4: “and how many cars do they have”

me: “what”

4: “does a family with two dads have just one car like us or do they have two cars”

Got a new desk. I've been using the same IKEA thing my whole life and felt like it was a good time to move to a better one. The old desk has impressively survived being taken apart and reassembled multiple times and is probably older than some people reading this, so I figure it deserves retirement.

I think I kinda accidentally fell into a pretty good team in endfield.

- got Last Rite and Xaihi from starting pulls
- Yvonne from failing to pull Lavatein
- Gil from a lucky pull in the latest banner

Team seems more fun to play than just Last Rite unga bunga too.

Colonel Custard has officially been adopted! 🎉 His new family renamed him Colonel Mustard. His adopter once said that if she ever brought home a “yellow” cat, she’d name him Mustard. And honestly? The universe heard that and said, “Say less.” We couldn’t have scripted this better.

One of my cats bit my other cat. Hard enough to draw blood, though we took her to the vet and she's fine. Seems like some accident where someone got spooked.

The cat who did it seems genuinely concerned and apologetic. He's been following her around, meowing, lightly petting, and licking her.

My sweetheart cat, Zatanna, has been dx’d with a poorly differentiated cancer that is going to need radiation therapy to treat. The problem? It’s $12000, which is effectively our entire savings.

If you’re feeling generous, my venmo is bbwolfe. Please tag donations with a cute cat emoji! Thank you!!

Every now and then I see people reposting some horrible statement from some horrible person, and I don't get why people do this?

It's like announcing "hey everyone, this piece of shit smells like shit."

You're not wrong, but I don't see how this contributes anything to someone's feed.

It's really funny to learn about things like these because I don't know celebrity trivia at all.

I only remember this guy as the perv from Armageddon.
Reminder that Steve Buscemi, National Treasure, used to be a firefighter, and when 9-11 happened, he pulled 12 hour volunteer shifts with his old ladder. www.independent.co.uk/arts-enterta...

In case you want to know the first thing I remember about him. :)

I just leaned in close with my cat, and he tapped my nose with his nose. Aww.

Then he lowered his head and moved forward to do that head rub that cats do to each other. But I didn't catch on, so his head just bumped straight into my nose.

I think I just did the cat version of missing a fist bump.

Normally your default party members in gachas are pretty throwaway, but I kinda like both Perlica and Chen in Endfield.

I noticed that personality-wise, Chen is quite similar to Amber from Genshin. I liked Amber too, so maybe I just like that character type.

Okay. Usually I think bacteria in Elite Dangerous is not as hard to find as people make it sound. Usually it is distinguishable enough from a distance.

But this? This is BS.

The bit in the middle of the screen here is bacteria, and I'm supposed to be able to spot it.

I'm getting close to the galactic core now. The stars are getting really densely clustered together, and it looks really nice.

Kinda like the view you get on a clear night in an area without much light pollution.

I'm not sure what to do with my character selector in Endfield. I could get the fire tank lady because I don't have her, but I'm tempted to just get a Last Rite dupe so that I don't have to build another character.

I convinced my wife to pick up There Is No Antimemetics Division because I've heard good things about it and liked the original. She seems to be enjoying it so far.

Surprisingly, she says one of the plot devices in this book is nearly identical to something she's seen in an otome game before.

Wait Endfield doesn't need malls because you can just whip up stacks of buildings on the spot? Wow.

Though I guess that makes the game a hell of a lot more accessible.
