I'm also starting to wonder if the cobra V is comparable to the vulture in combat. The vulture has bigger guns, sure, but I don't know if three mediums is that far behind two large, plus two small points for utility and finishing stuff off sounds nice.

It's also kinda funny how the cobra V and krait have basically exactly the same hardpoint layout, but differently sized.

I started trying out larger ships and kitted out a krait with three large PAs. Very satisfying when you land shots with those.

The game also seriously discourages spraying with them because of the low fire rate and heat buildup.
