There's a real possibility it also has to do with SEO. In my professional career, I can tell you that, whenever a company has bad PR, they will flood the net with articles and statements containing the core key words of their controversy to push it down Google rankings and search engines.

Ive seen quite a bit of these cross-discipline genAI users online AND irl. Hates ai images? Use it for writing. Hates ai music? Uses it for album covers. You mfs think the ai exist to benefit specifically you, completely unaware that youre just like others that they take advantage from. Stupid.

No. I use it cause I'm a writer and I don't have thousands and thousands of pounds to spend over an image for a chapter on Patreon, so I generate it with Midjourney or Gemini.

When i see another persons art, i try to break down their methods - the way they use a brush, the way they use colors, etc.
I dont go through their portfolio, take every pixel of every piece and store it in a database and use it to regurgitate information.
This should be obvious to a normal person.

When you will be able to prove to me that training AI is theft, you should be able to prove that you didn't learn from anybody how to draw. If you can learn from somebody how to draw or write how is that a computer can't?
