Introducing the design doc for ChronoGun: The Countdown Conspiracy, a light-gun game-flavored, rules-lite TTRPG. The doc is not yet complete; I need to add special enemies, an encounter table, and a sample adventure. I am looking for folks to collaborate on these core conceits and playtest w/ me.

It's #portfolioday! I'm presently a senior narrative designer at Blizzard, but before that I was at Bungie and Arkane. I wrote for the Writer's Guild award-nominated Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, and a bunch of critically acclaimed seasons and expansions in Destiny 2.

I am roughly $180 short. I'm going to post through today. I need to raise the money by 6 p.m. this evening or things are going to get vastly more complicated.
I have one more day to raise this before it becomes a major problem. The short version is that the ongoing shutdown has had knock on effects on my and my roommate's income, small as it is, that have necessitated getting help with rent.

The Chimera Ant arc in HxH was so relentlessly bleak that it put me off of the series. It also taught me that there are certain methods of killing or torture, and/or certain victims, that squick me out so bad I can't enjoy whatever else is going on in the story.
