Regardless of the inside baseball negotiations, and equivocating, Schumer got owned by his OWN WHIP. How can you lead the party when you can't keep your second in command in line? The time for change was last week.

It all sounds good to him until he figures out that if the money sucking insurance companies can't suck money from us, they won't have any big, beautiful money to give him. (When they're done choking on their martinis, II'm sure the insurance lobbyists will remind him of this.)
His "concept" of a Healthcare Plan is finally revealed. It involves eliminating the Insurance Industry & people purchasing their OWN, MUCH BETTER, HEALTHCARE. Unrelated, note his obsessive envy of Obama, historically rated 1 of our finest presidents, who he still believes was born in Kenya.

Victory comes in a big tent that has room for democratic-socialists, where that's the right model, progressives, centrists and even blue dogs, if that's what wins. It's not one or the other, it's all of the above.
Today should be a day where all Democrats celebrate our big tent. Moderate Dems won big in statewide races across the country, while Progressive Dems racked up huge victories in cities. All parts of the party won. That's our superpower and we should remember that when we all vote, we all win.

If I were running the DNC, there would be Democratic Party sponsored food relief banks across the country right now that specifically welcomed anyone regardless of party affiliation.

Along with the food, there could be voter registration and links to runforsomething.net

You didn't want to see it, #rogan. It was there all along, the dehumanizing racism, lies, open bigotry. Millions of us saw and heard; you chose not to. Now you need to work to make it right with the same energy you used to support these bastards
The con worked, until it didn’t?

ROGAN: “I really thought they were just going to go after the criminals… I really thought there was enough gang members.”

ME: He still doesn’t get it. That’s what Trump wanted everyone to believe. They’re not even trying to go after “the criminals”.

I am sounding the alarm that the GOP is engaged in an all out attack voting rights and free and fair elections. Voter suppression, gerrymandering, and troops in blue cities are just some of the ways they are using to try to rig the rules to keep power in 2026 and beyond.

Pay attention and act!

There is a profound editing error near the end of this as the court is not moving toward sweeping presidential powers, they are moving toward sweeping powers for THIS president. And that, looking back at the Biden era rulings, is a disgrace.

Church lady analysis: Plastic appetizer cups from the Dollar Tree for individual servings, 6 to a pack, went from $1 to $1.25 under Biden. Today, for yogurt parfaits, $2 a pack @ DT. Church lady math says Drump's economy is at least three times worse than Biden's. Paper cups it is.

The Oval Office meeting didn't stop a shutdown, but the Trump 2028 hats and a sombrero set a tone
Halfway through Donald Trump’s inaugural White House meeting with congressional leadership, the red "Trump 2028" hats appeared on the president’s desk.

Grab the narrative. 24-7. all platforms; all the time. ALL hands on deck. Not press conferences, not stern letters, not fundraising letters. Precise, engaging, direct engagement. Break through the algorithms. DO IT!
Democrats need to build narrative dominance—fast—or we’re going to lose the shutdown fight. We’re holding the line to stop brutal budget cuts, reverse Trump’s tariffs, and protect your health care. Say it over and over again.

Dems need to be 24-7-house-on-fire- everywhere, anywhere all the time relentlessly assaulting the stupidity that got us here. AND, standing tall at the gates of Democracy to protect the system of checks & balances and the workforce that keeps us running from idealogues Voght & Miller.
One party(GOP), controlled by one man(Dump), owns this shutdown.

All 3 branches of the Gov are controlled by the GOP.

Good luck pinning this on anyone else.

Nate Silver has been wrong a lot recently, but here he has things right. Democrats need to walk and chew gum: Do both, fight for health care & against tariffs. Go on offense, don't debate false narratives. instead lead with facts.

I wish elected #Democrats loved their voters the way the GOP loves a podcaster. #DNC you don't have our backs. You have truth buried in your briefcases but you don't have a narrative, and you don't have any fight. Yet, you'll want our votes, our work, and money. #senatedemocrats
#hluserepublucans
The right have launched an all-out attack on liberals and the left, in the wake of the Kirk killing, pushing narratives about left-wing violence and the need to investigate liberal nonprofits and Schumer and Jeffries are totally AWOL. The Dems are leaderless.

Shocking.

As @shannonrwatts.bsky.social pointed out, where's the Democrats Leadership's response to JD Vance and the Trump Administration essentially declaring war on the majority of America?

Debunking all his lies? Calling out right-wing terror?

Anything? Anything at all?
