Today in Beijing, a group of fascist leaders gathered to celebrate the victory of the war against fascism. The irony is staggering, and the spectacle borders on the absurd.

36 years on, and the Chinese government still seeks to erase the memory of the June 1989 #TiananmenMassacre.

World leaders should renew pressure on Beijing to acknowledge the Tiananmen Massacre and provide reparations to victims' families. bit.ly/3FjDLD6

It seems more like she was silenced than that she took her own life. The Epstein case is truly dark and deeply tangled.

Jonathan Chatwin authored a book titled The Southern Tour, which chronicles Deng Xiaoping’s 1992 trip through southern China. I came across an error in the book and pointed it out to him on Bluesky, only for him to block me. Frankly, I find it quite bewildering.

China set presidential term limits earlier than the U.S.

In 1913, the Republic of China limited presidents to two 5-year terms. The U.S. didn’t impose its two-term limit until 1951 with the 22nd Amendment.

The 1954 PRC Constitution guaranteed freedom of movement, but this right was removed in 1975 during the Cultural Revolution and never reinstated, including in the 1982 Constitution. To this day, China's Constitution does not guarantee citizens freedom of movement.

I am shocked that the United States voted against it at the United Nations General Assembly. American democracy is dead.
✅🇺🇳🇺🇦 The UN General Assembly supported the resolution initiated by Ukraine and Europe.

93 countries voted for the draft resolution, 18 against, 65 abstained.

Russia and the United States called for not voting for it.

Carter was a president entirely lacking the ability to serve as a national leader, a foolishly kind person. The numerous predicaments the United States faces today cannot absolve Carter of his responsibility.

www.voachinese.com/a/bo-guagua-...

The fundamental issue in South Korea lies in its presidential system. If South Korea were to adopt a parliamentary system, Yoon Suk-yeol would never have become prime minister, and today's chaos would not exist.
