What I'd like to see is another curated anthology show. There used to be a lot of those, "What-a-Cartoon" on CN, Eye Drops " on TechTV, "Kablam!" and "Oh Yeah! Cartoons" on Nick. I think CN's "Sunday Pants" in '05 was the last one. In the US on TV anyway
Honestly would be cool if Cartoon Network still made cartoons in general, but maybe I'm asking for too much

"Sure, Homestar, why not? This is more The Cheat's area of expertise, anyway. I kinda checked out when computers started being able to display more than 256 colours."
if I had any lingering doubts about who the target demographic for retro handhelds was this theme would have shattered them

It's a great cosmic joke that neurodivergence both runs in families and gets diagnosed based on parent reports. I was diagnosed at 30 because a man who has eaten potatoes every day for 57 years and a woman who collects loose buttons decided I was a perfectly normal child.

Accurate! Fursuiting, cosplay, pony play, whatever harmless recreational horsing (or harmless recreational anything, really) makes you happy. Life is short, the world is often scary, so play pretend if that’s what brings you a smile. Just *play*. Embrace joy wherever you can find it.

Whinny! :-)
Hey! Did you know? You can just be a pony!

Do it! Be a lil horsie! Go neigh and trot around! You can just do it!

Worth checking, tbh, if you live or lived in the coverage zone for this. The US (including bases and PR, VI, GU, MP, AS, and UM), Canada, Palau, Micronesia, and the Marshall Islands are searchable
Recieved checks for unclaimed funds in 3 different states the same day. The NJ one is from 2007 (undergrad!). Not a scam and I get nothing for promoting you get money you are owed. Missingmoney.com is a general search but I suggest going to the state website and only enter surname.

Tangent! It occurred to me that "Tale of the Dollmaker" is one of those "don't go in there, it's another world, the rules are different" stories.

GOPers are just bitter that they haven't been able to win in CLT since Pat McCrory in the 00s
In last week’s elections, Charlotte voters overwhelmingly reelected the Democratic mayor. All Democratic incumbents on the city council won, and Democrats flipped one of the two seats held by a Republican.

Right wing fearmongering aside, people who live in Charlotte seem to think the city is fine.
"Scared of Charlotte" is a whole new level of "scared of cities" that I'd never even considered possible

The Sham Battle of Topanga
I guess I just assumed the Topanga area was all movie ranches after the regular Ranchos sold, like Conejo Valley, Santa Susana, etc were.
Apparently someone owned it before it was a state park and town

Sometimes I can't tell when someone over the last decade or so posts some nostalgia and is all "that's from back when they didn't put SJW/Woke in everything!!1!" whether it's dunkbait or if the thing is just something they liked as a kid before they onboarded a bunch of hangups about everything

The part where Doc Brown would decide that videocommunications and who the President is in the current day explaining each other could probably stay though
I read this and immediately thought “well that would actually be awesome because then Marty can go back to the 90s where he probably had a really awesome time as a teenager” and then I was like oh wait his PARENTS would have been teenagers in the 90s and then I just sat here for like 45 minutes
