I think CITY announcing moronic roster decisions every Chat City Tactics Eve is actually a conspiracy by the tactics industry to sell more clicks.

I really really dislike John Hackworth making decisions at my club
A leader on and off the pitch 🫡

We have re-signed defender Josh Yaro to a one-year contract through 2026 with a club option for 2027.

Beyond being a good guy and a decent enough backup, my standing theory remains intact: Ben is #AllForCITY because Roman wants someone to talk goalkeeping auf Deutsch.

I dont know if this is more of a @tombogert.bsky.social or a @mattdoyle.bsky.social stat but 20% of this roster was signed to senior club contracts by Corey Wray.
42% of the midfield was signed by him.

Our final roster of the year is here! 🇺🇸⚽️

25 players have been called up for matches against Paraguay on Nov. 15 and Uruguay on Nov. 18! 👇

Posting a bounty: if anyone gets their hands on the current #AllForCITY squad evaluation slide, you know where to find me.

Lots of great #AllForCITY questions and quotes re: Wray, but no one has asked his opinion on a 6 yet, and that has me slightly concerned.

Plenty of red flags around St. Louis (see: club president Diego Gigliani pushing ahead on making end-of-year roster decisions before naming a new CSO).

That said, Wray is well-regarded around MLS. I’d be happy about him if I was a St. Louis fan.

Will he be given room to work?
Welcome to CITY, Corey!

St. Louis CITY SC name Corey Wray as the Club's second-ever Sporting Director.

Sources: St. Louis City SC has agreed terms with former Montreal executive Corey Wray to be its next sporting director. Contract could be signed as soon as late Friday. A Canadian citizen, Wray will need to acquire a work visa as well. #AllForCITY

Klauss - Physical/Secondary
Pompeu - Dribbler
Hartel - Passer/Secondary
Sangbin - Runner
How would you classify what we have right now? Hartel fills a couple I assume?

Scouting players for #AllForCITY feels foolish right now.

We don't know what an actual Sporting Director wants.

We don't know what our head coach will prioritize.

And without those specifics, it's hard to scout with purpose.

But a while back, I read some intelligent soccering folks talks.
