Klein is a liberal opinion journalist, but he is also ethically bound to maintain his independence. Not sure how this is any different from making a political donation or putting a candidate's sign on his lawn. I'll be interested to hear if his employer has anything to say about this.

I’m going to say something that shouldn’t be controversial but will be. If you are a Christian, you can support border control and immigration being legal vs illegal. You CANNOT celebrate deportations and get off on the cruelty, and be a real Christ follower. Period

Harvard has set an example for other higher-ed institutions - rejecting an unlawful and ham-handed attempt to stifle academic freedom, while taking steps to make sure students can benefit from an environment of intellectual inquiry, rigorous debate and mutual respect. Let’s hope others follow suit.
