Arsenal women are on their way to becoming established not just the best women’s team in Europe but bigger than many male 1st tier European clubs.
Average crowds should top 40 000 and the days of giving tickets away for a fiver have long gone.

Hate or Pride?

Burberry, Adobe, KLM, Listerine, Nissan, Radisson Hotels, SoundCloud, Squarespace, Trainline and VistaPrint: the big brands that fund GB News' revolting homophobia whilst claiming to support Pride.

Here's how you write to them and ask them to choose.

Firms who advertise on GB News are paying for a channel built on hatred. It’s time for companies to pick a side – hate or Pride.

So the World Sevens is supposed to happen 4 times a year with at least one more in North America in fall this year. And I understood they are also planning one in Asia for now. Would be awesome if they would get all the winners together for the ultimate W7F winner. #W7F

LaBonta has a degree in engineering from Stanford. In 2015 the NWSL minimum salary was $6,842. At any point in her soccer career LaBonta could have made substantially more money outside the sport.

She was waived by Sky Blue and eventually found her way to the FC Kansas City practice squad. (1/x)

I’ve had the privilege of playing on the same team as Emily several times over the years. She is kind, brave, and deserves the world.

We should call the ban out for what it is: the FA is banning trans kids from playing grassroots sports with their friends. It’s not about protecting women at all.
When your kids heart is completely broken and there is nothing you can do 😞.

I completely agree. All the petitions do (additionally to what Lee says) is make people feel like they've done something so they don't end up doing something else more effective (talking to people, writing to MPs/orgs etc). It stifles resistance.
I write about this in the next Trans Agenda but I think we need to stop organising petitions to get debates in the House of Commons. All we do is give the worst people a large platform to attack trans people and the papers more fodder.

If we had decent allies there, maybe. But we don't.

Rated Baggaley ever since she was at Bristol City. I think she’s a class keeper, so seeing everyone melt down as she pulled off save after save against Arsenal is funny.

Football For Some

The decision from the FA today to bow to a small minority of people who don’t watch women’s football, in order to exclude an even smaller (yet more vulnerable and stigmatised) minority, is appalling.
