In a previous life I used to work site crew and part of our job was to put up signs like this. Normally they would say ‘Exit’, Camp Site Names, etc. If you’ve been to a music festival you will know the sort of thing. The ‘Cheese’ sign was a bit of daftness for the crew. It was always the last sign we put up. It meant we’d finished the set up and could start drinking. It also confused the fuck out of the punters.
