I'm Nathan, a Senior Artist. I love making stylized environments and props. Mainly using Blender, 3ds Max, Zbrush, Substance, 3D Coat and Unreal Engine.

Spent sometime tonight working on the lighting for my Unreal Engine 5 environment.

Really liking the focal lighting now, still need to make adjustments and push more of it. but the balance feels nice now.

Here are some WIP shots from Unreal Engine 5 from this weekends progress

Ive been focusing on shaders for the foliage and reworking some of the lighting and doing some Designer work on the Birch bark

I will be taking the trees into Zbrush and sculpting some detail onto the trees

Spent today sketching and planning some tree designs and ideas. Then sculpted the base for it.

I plan on having a detailed base at player eye level then blending a tile sheet up the the tree above player height.

Will be posting the sculpts next week as I still have to refine them to completion :)

Some more progress on my latest environment piece inside Unreal Engine 5.

I started bringing in the wooden barriers/spikes in to engine. I need to finish them tomorro with some ropes to tie them up.

Also started on some debris meshes to scatter around.

More updates tomorrow!
