Fox correspondent Bill Melugin’s stark acknowledgement that "videos appear to show [Pretti] never drew his holstered firearm" was whiplash-inducing for anyone who had been following Fox’s on-air coverage of the killing -- and it marked a major shift.

From Facebook, a mea culpa from Tom Suozzi. This is even more surprising than Republicans admonishing ICE out of political expediency.

Pretti, but not Good, eh?
Important: In response to this from Trump, Tim Walz's office says Trump agreed to talk to DHS about ensuring that state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension can conduct independent investigation into Pretti's death. Also that Trump agreed to "look into" reducing number of agents in the state.
Trump: "Walz called me w/ the request to work together with respect to MN... we are looking for are any and all Criminals that they have in their possession. The Governor, very respectfully, understood that, and I will be speaking to him in the near future. He was happy that Homan was going to MN"

Last year, I reported on a problematic NYPD unit led by a particularly problematic commander.

The commander once pointed a gun at a motorcyclist and threatened to kill him.

Well, that commander, Kaz Daughtry, has a new job.

He now works for Trump's DHS.

On NPR on Friday, there was a story of a 4-year-old--an American citizen--who hasn't left her house since early December, not even to play in the yard. And her 8-year-old brother recently stopped going to school, too. Their father is undocumented, and the family doesn't want to risk him being taken.

Parents in Tehran find their missing son alive in a body bag at the morgue. He played dead in the bag for 3 days so he wouldn't be discovered & finished off.

Doctors in Iran say 16,500 have been killed, & 330,000 wounded.
