Linas Garsys used a pink triangle to represent gay people in his illustration, and Trump boasting about his anti-gay position is a dog whistle so loud it is deafening.
Under Hitler between 5,000 - 15,000 homosexual men were sent to the Nazi concentration camps where they were made to wear pink triangles.
The death rate for these men may have been as high as 60%.
It starts with intolerance and exclusion.
We know where the path ends.

The bill, while unlikely to pass, highlights the increasing extremism of legislation targeting trans people, especially in Texas, in recent years.

Project 2025 was first pushed out by red states few years ago, where many of the tyrannical measures were challenged and upheld by lower courts. This isn't really a new thing going on.
Dems are fighting back in the courts!

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries announced that there are currently more than 20 lawsuits challenging 11 of Donald Trump’s executive orders.

More of this!

"Even in one's personal life." Gender Affirming Care requires so much honor, truth, and discipline that it is the least regretful of all forms of healthcare.
This is an appallingly discriminatory document.

This not only seeks to define transgender people out of existence, as with last week's order, today's executive order states that being transgender "conflicts with a soldier's commitment to an honorable, truthful, and disciplined lifestyle."

'All transphobes are bad faith' is what I learned after watching trans debates for 2 years. A person in good faith may not know the facts but will accept them when they are presented. Anti-trans views are the epitome of refusing facts.
Assuming good faith by fascists is how we got here.
My key point here is not substantive. I find Trump's order cruel & terrible, but whether it is constitutional is a separate, crucial question. Left-leaning people like me should assume good faith by those suggesting the order is constitutional & engage with their arguments.

With a stroke of the pen, trans people no longer exist and are deemed second-class citizens with no constitutional rights. Stay safe, friends.

Obama's 2 term presidency rocked white supremacy amerikkka to its core. That's why we have Trump, Musk, Walsh, etc, leading the right. That's why their focus is on anti-lgbtq (trans rights, gay marriage), misogyny (women's rights, abortion), Racism (CRT. Woke, DEI, immigration). The fundamentals.
For context this is the shit they’re spewing over there bsky.app/profile/dail...

Conspiracy theorizing started as a positive term (mid 1800s) until people started using this concept to influence others with disinformation, negative term. Nowadays, this practice is analysis based on the type of information. For example; OSINT (open source), HUMINT (human), SIGINT (signal).
Understanding conspiracy theories:
1. There’s a kernel of truth
2. Someone gains influence or power by promoting it
3. Believers dislike the group it targets
4. There’s a strong negative emotional hook.
5. Scientific evidence is dismissed as an effort to hide the “truth”

"Fundamental to the capacity of a person to agree to sexual activity"

It would be the burden of the person providing consent to declare their fundamentals. This is another system of control through reproduction.

Don't have to remember, really. They've been doing this with trans people for the past several years. Vilifying groups of people has been a hateful strategy of humanity since we invented groups and languages. When there aren't examples, they'll just make them up (eating pets, litter boxes, etc).
MAGA admits their strategy is to use select examples of heinous crimes to paint all migrants as bad, and to shout over the upcoming images of harm being done to women and children. Remember this.

People only have constitutional rights if those in power acknowledge those rights.
Years ago, someone told me about a state prison doctor w/an almost unbelievable history of negligence. The story instantly became one I wanted to pursue. It has taken a long while and I’ve gotten a ton of help from colleagues and a super patient editor. Story below.

8. According to the ACLU, legislative attacks on transgender people grew “exponentially” over 2023 and 2024. These anti-trans laws have directly caused an increase in suicide attempts in some states by up to 72%. The CDC reports 1 in 4 trans youth tried to take their lives this year.
Groundbreaking Study: Anti-trans State Laws Increased Suicide Attempts By 72%
The study, published in Nature Human Behavior, offers critical insight into the effects of anti-trans legislation, including healthcare bans, on transgender youth and is the first study of its kind.

Claiming the -ism in Autism is analogous to adding -ism to Transgender is possessing the particular quality of dumbism.

Refusing to accept how language changes from being to not being derogatory is a terrible semantic argument.

LGBP people who experience distress due to orientation may resort to identity change as a coping mechanism. I think this should be talked about, but it becomes difficult to do so when these individuals resort to transphobia as a means to cope with their own failure of recognizing their sense of self
