This is my senator. I am one of the constituents who called his office. I want to believe it’s because he’s listening to us.
Senator Gallego weighs in as well. Note that at the start of 2025 he was considered a *moderate* on immigration and co-sponsored the Laken Riley Act. Him and many other Dems have been increasingly horrified at what ICE is doing and shifted away from a "more enforcement" focus.

There’s no 2 sides to what’s happening in Minneapolis. ICE is WRONG. They need to LEAVE. Terrorizing your own people puts us on the same level as China, Russia, or North Korea. A year ago we were a DEMOCRACY. Now we’re living in fear within our own borders.

Dictator Trump is responsible for the Jan., ordered mass murders of boaters, threatened to destroy an entire country, bragged he could shoot someone and not lose voters, and is suppressing and killing immigrants and U.S. citizens alike. I think it's safe to say "peace" has never been on his mind.

To anyone who lives in the Oklahoma City area be advised that the city council will consider approving an ICE facility on Tuesday the 20th at 8:30 AM. The facility is near a majority Hispanic school in a Hispanic neighborhood. ICE cannot be allowed to terrorize these people. Show up to protest.
