My friend Roger who passed away in 2019 took me to see this tree almost a decade ago. Roger was a true keeper of local history and folklore in his section of the Northern Neck and told me he understood this marking to be the last survivor of five beech trees used as trail markers through the woods.

Here is a repugnant, smug grifter peddling some of the worst ideas in human history.

The absence of anything vaguely resembling ethics among transhumanists--or whatever they call themselves these days--is and should remain shocking.
A month after Bari Weiss hired to lead CBS News division, heretic eugenics philosopher Jonathan Anomaly is on the morning show pitching bell curves and embryo scores.

Here's a quick explanation on why the Senate deal is bad for most Americans and for our #healthcare costs. 👇
This is a bad deal, and the old way of doing things is clearly not working.

We need new leaders in the Senate.

They truly don't care about us. I'm willing to bet the reason for the end of the shutdown is the same reason for the end of the last shutdown: air traffic control staffing. The rich want to be able to use their private jets safely.

Plus all of these people 👇 are safe from being voted out.
NEWS: U.S. Senate advances bill to reopen the federal government in a 60-40 vote.

Dems who votes yes:
🔵 Catherine Cortez Masto
🔵 Dick Durbin
🔵 John Fetterman
🔵 Maggie Hassan
🔵 Tim Kaine
🔵 Angus King
🔵 Jackie Rosen
🔵 Jeanne Shaheen

Republicans who voted no:
🔴 Rand Paul

1. This is a thread on freedom, and how easy it is to lose.

Over the past 2,000 years in Europe, there have been few periods and places of freedom. For much of the time we lived under highly oppressive tyrannies of various kinds, whether small or grand, local or imperial, secular or religious.🧵

Day 290

The beef between the DOJ and Sean Dunn came to an end yesterday when he was acquitted on assault charges after throwing a Subway sandwich at a federal officer.

The DOJ had tried to secure a felony charge, but the grand jury thought that was baloney.
