Liberals can apply pragmatism and accept faults of their own ideology but won’t do the same for communists. Their revolutions, maintenance of power, state sanctioned violence and enabling of fascists is 1000 fold anything communists have done. They are not arguing in good faith. They don’t care.

There is a lesson that the left needs to learn from the last 15 months. What we are doing is totally ineffective. If Trump was able to end the genocide simply by demanding it, Biden could have done the same. Public pressure, protests, the ICJ, everything...it wasn't enough to force Biden's hand.

It's just further confirmation that almost every tactic from the struggles of the 60s and 70s no longer works. Power has adapted and insulated itself from traditional forms of activism. We need a new playbook for the 21st century that takes into consideration neoliberalism and emerging technologies.
