The first version of the new year is unfortunately a much needed hot-fix. In the previous version I accidently introduced a crash when taking certain exit portals. The crash report from Github user DEA1HYT is much appreciated.

Today I learnt of a new source port under development for that other early id Software FPS: Hovertank 3D!
The developer, Havoc, has also acquired the rights to the game. He has a YouTube channel and maintains a blog on his website at havoc.de.

Oh wow, the Biomenace remaster is a real nostalgia trip. I always remember the game having a weird tone and yep, right off the bat there's bleeding corpses in the streets, skeletons, etc. And the enemies are smiling funny little guys with googly eyes.

We didn't just rebalance the difficulty in BioMenace Remastered, we also made it possible to switch difficulty - you can start on hard and go down to normal later, for example. The playthrough will be marked as "mixed difficulty" on the leaderboards.

There's an infamous softlock in E2L4 of BioMenace - if you know, you know. We fixed that in the Remaster, as you can see here. We also made level design friendlier on easy and normal difficulties. One of those difficulty tweaks can be seen in this video, can you spot it?

There's an infamous softlock in E2L4 of BioMenace - if you know, you know. We fixed that in the Remaster, as you can see here. We also made level design friendlier on easy and normal difficulties. One of those difficulty tweaks can be seen in this video, can you spot it?
