The Epstein files don't raise questions about Trump. They provide answers.

Trump raped children. Trump was close friends with Epstein & Maxwell who sold children to be raped BECAUSE they sold children to be raped.

Why are Republicans still protecting Trump instead of his victims?

This will be my thread for thoughts while reading Disabling Intelligences by @fractalecho.bsky.social this week.

I'm all wrapped up in a fleece blanket, I have my highlighter and page flags, and on page 2 I'm already love their writing style.

Living with Long COVID often feels like living in a horror movie. Along with your disease comes a creepy Hive Mind refusal to acknowledge the dangers of COVID infection. In Vince Gilligan's new Apple TV show Pluribus, the Hive Mind comes to life:

"Pluribus" captures the isolation of COVID-awareness in a COVID denialist world
For years I've described having Long COVID as living in a horror movie. Now that horror movie (well, prestige Apple TV show) is here.

A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.

Trump hasn't publicly expressed grief fast enough about the death of a prominent Republican. I demand Trump be fired immediately.

We may no longer have a Constitution, but we do still have the Charlie Kirk rule, right?

This is awful. Teen Vogue was one of the only mainstream publications with a clear anti-Nazi stance.
I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

it is not remarked upon enough that these guys just genuinely and sincerely hate america and hate americans
it's utterly wild how the Heritage Foundation president talks about other people

if you found a guy talking like this outside, you'd probably call the cops

Farmer's markets near us get around this rule by using market tokens purchased using an EBT card and providing a match up to a certain amount. Makes food at the market more affordable for those on SNAP while still charging the same price.
The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email

I have a weird suggestion: what if we tried having the executive branch (headed by the president) follow the law? Maybe not do things that are illegal?

I understand that nobody knows what would happen, but maybe try it for a couple of years and see?

The Walton family (who own Walmart) are worth over $400 billion, yet many of their employees are on SNAP.

Bezos is worth over $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP.

The people who need help are not the problem.

It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage.

Honestly the full-body disgust and horror I felt the first time I saw a post from that man, went to block who I had assumed was a random racist asshole of no consequence, and saw he was a former Gorsuch clerk and Grassley's Chief Counsel for nominations and now advises Trump on judicial nominations
May I present a former clerk to Justice Gorsuch.

I don't think replacing the East Wing with the Pedophiles Ballroom was a good idea.

I don't think replacing our Constitution with Mein Trumpf was a good idea.

Replacing Trump is a good idea.

Not the communities I am currently in, but I have seen this dynamic.
If you want to understand why Jewish institutional leadership is so out of touch with actual American Jews, you need to understand the funding dynamic of basically every legacy Jewish institution. 1/

"Tzefardea Tzedek" (Frog of Righteousness)

As soon as the Portland Frog became a meme, Jewish social media blew up with jokes about the 2nd Passover plague - tzefarde'a (frogs) - and the Rabbinical commentary around it. I knew I had to make a calligraphy piece encompassing all of it. (more in alt.)

1/8 of our country's population is about to lose the money they spend on food, while the White House says let them eat ballroom and steals another trillion dollars for Trump and his cronies. How is this ok with anyone?

25 days is long enough. I'm calling it. Remove the president, House speaker, and Senate majority leader from office. Let's try a new president, new House speaker, and new Senate majority leader. They get 5 days to negotiate and pass a CR to reopen the government. If they fail, rinse and repeat.
October 25, 2025 at 6:28 AM
Well, at least now we know the real inflation rate under Trump.
Trump raises the price of the ballroom to $350 million

(It changed from $200 million, then $300 million, now $350 million within the course of a few days)

If you have contacted the SSA or plan to, read this thread and make sure you keep your own records of your contact dates.
‼️‼️‼️ Got word of a new way the billionaire in charge of SSA is fucking over the American people!!!! TLDR: This will definitely lead to people applying for benefits losing out on money, and probably some hefty lawsuits for attorneys that know what’s up. The long version is gonna be long so let’s go.

👉DID YOU KNOW? The Telehealth Modernization Act of 2024 was voted UNANIMOUSLY BIPARTISAN out of committee (unheard of these days) in December 2024 (& previous votes were also UNANIMOUSLY BIPARTISAN).

BUT IT NEVER MADE IT TO THE FLOOR. Speaker Johnson wanted it to be held FOREVER tethered to the CR!

CFPB was created by law. The president swears an oath to faithfully execute the laws. Vought is admitting they have broken that oath, by saying that CFPB under his and Trump's control has not been doing what the law says it must do. It is illegal to close it, and illegal to run it the way they have.
