“How many refugees have been granted asylum in the UK?”

Most people overestimate the number - by a lot. With far-right figures spreading misinformation, it’s hard for the public to know the truth.

Watch the video to see just how wide the gap is between perception and reality.

Okay, I can't let this one go. I live in Ireland, not the UK, but the use of this image by a supposedly socialist party is so stupid and offensive, I'm going to get stuck in.

Let me explain to you why any experienced illustrator/designer could have stopped you making so many miserable mistakes. 1/

Happy tears in my eyes reading the itinerary for my next trip. It is absolutely beyond my wildest dreams… and I just want to tell my 2015 self, when I cried sad tears en route to work every day, that things are going to work out. 😊✊🏼

Dear @teamlabouruk.bsky.social, I don’t wanna hear you slagging off NF. It’s boring. And repetitive. Just tell us how you’re going to repair this country’s bad bits, because his version won’t work. Give us the solutions 🙄

Had an amazing dinner last night at Crocadon Farm in Cornwall. Chef Dan Cox is a regenerative farmer and has a green and one star from Michelin. I tasted unusual herbs and varieties of produce… One of the desserts was this lemon verbena sorbet. Out of this world! Get down there! www.crocadon.farm

A third have had to rely on government assistance like SNAP — which is about to get cut.
