I like to make long audio jokes for very very small audiences. I wore a washcloth on my head as a child.
I hate it. I wish violence upon it, thoughts toward it bloody or nothing worth. No hammer can smash it hard enough, no flame can evaporate it fast enough. I want every vapid, soulless peddler of it to sit in a stiff-backed chair in the marketplace, hearing rebuke until they realize their mistakes.
I considered writing a long carefully constructed argument laying out the harms and limitations of AI, but instead I wrote about being a hater. Only humans can be haters.
I Am An AI Hater
I am an AI hater. This is considered rude, but I do not care, because I am a hater.

My world is not the same after reading Reich's book The System. Please read it.

I am worried that I have been less of a hoot at parties, because I want this to be THE political discussion.
How about instead of selling "bearista" cups, Starbucks bargains a fair contract with its unionized baristas? No contract. No coffee. Don't cross the picket line. Solidarity with @sbworkersunited.org
Starbucks' outrageous CEO-to-worker pay gap might make you spit out your morning coffee. And we're supposed to believe Starbucks can't afford to bargain a fair contract with its unionized workers?

After my first play I finally understood how carefully the government, the people, and the businesses have to waltz to stop a city from Dropping Dead.

I'm in a google drive of the gd House Oversight Committee. I can't believe this. It's like I'm looking at a shared work folder, but it's Epstein's texts.

Why is there a video of a dog chewing a toy?

What world is this?

I misspoke in this episode, Hermanos paid me $4 an hour initially, but I got to $4.25 after a year.

You go to a restaurant. The food is not only worse than it used to be, but it costs more. You can eat standing, but a stool is $60. The waitstaff is still paid the same crappy wage, but the owner makes 1000x what she makes and she is forced to offer you a credit card that gives bonus meals.

Maybe a hot take, but the flight attendant who makes $30k a year should not have to give a speech on a delayed, water-only, $60 a bag flight to ask you to get a credit card so that it can benefit the CEO who made $31 million this year.

I'm trying to go to bed but I'm ALSO trying not to make a video where I play three competing Michael Caines where one is doing Ozymandias, the other the prologue to Henry V, and the third Kiss from a Rose (on the bloody GRAVE)

I never understood as a kid why watching the movie M*A*S*H felt like cool water on my brain. Or getting a multiball. Or sleeping in a room with 30 people talking.

Robert Altman rewards the scattered, fearful, hyperfocused mind and coyote ears. Oh how I love him. Who can listen to just one thing

This isn't just a unique thing, a history podcast to accompany a game's release, it is AMAZING.

I would listen to this even if I'd never heard of the game. It's stunning.

"He" has done bad things.

Twenty seven bad things.

How bad were they?

They were so bad that they justified severing all ties with his country. And now, the airing of the grievances. #sschat

Age verification?

My sister and I shared my father's sweater to play the role of William "The Refrigerator" Perry in a talent show rendition of the Superbowl Shuffle.

I passed age verification in Leisure Suit Larry.

But holy mackerel today my boy said he played Red Rover and I was SHOCKED to hear what it entailed

Since making this episode I bought two books, stopped using irony when talking about politics, and then sat at the kitchen table for an hour trying to decide how to refer to "climate change" without using an expression that was tested in focus groups like a damn happy meal toy. Jen is a gift.
