My understanding is that since the youtube boycott they don't have as many eyes on videos so they have been steadily upping the ads per video to try and make up for it.
I really do wish we had an alternative to YouTube... been uploading my streams to YT still because there's no where else...

What's really starting to drive me away is the fact I'm getting TWO 15 second unskippable ads MID ROLL now. And if their response is gonna be "lol, buy premium then" no. Fuck that. I should not have to pay money to get the same functionality of a site that I had for free years ago.
