Little Rock 1956: to integrate the schools, Eisenhower called out the army as the Ark NG was of no help.
Alabama 1963: to integrate universities, JFK called out the army as the Al NG was of no help.

What happens if the army confronts Minn NG? We have no idea.
But one real possibility is: bam. 2/

I am more worried about war in Minnesota than in Greenland or Canada.

The US is hours or days away from civil war. This might sound extreme, but if Walz has the Minn National Guard blocking ICE ops, the usual response of the fed govt to governors using NG against feds is to call out the army. 1/

I think the hardest part of the current political moment is realizing how many people around me are actually evil.

Not stupid. Not misinformed.
Not misguided.

Just blatantly, openly enjoying and relishing the suffering of other human beings.

That or they'll say he's "breaking with tradition" when it's like, in the constitution
Every time Trump breaks the clear letter of the law, the NYT and WaPo write a story about how he’s “pushing boundaries” or “testing the limits of his authority”

He's not Chuck Yeager, guys. He's a crook.

We've all got our gripes about DC Dems, but mine is: why the fuck aren't they saying "Stephen Miller is really the president" or "I hear Stephen Miller jokes about how Trump will sign anything". It took like two days of "Elon is really the president" before he was banned from the white house!

Miller is a true believer. Trump is an end user fascist. He will employ whatever ideological agenda works to make him richer and more powerful. MN is retaliation.

Then there is the clear fact that Trump is becoming more unstable and Miller is still an evil prick with fascist agenda of genocide.

Publicly framing Miller as the ‘real’ president may be a good tactic. That may create a strong feeling in trump’s narcissistic mind.

OPINION | Even by Trump’s standards, his latest letter is so dangerous and so delusional that there is no longer any question that the president is mentally “unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office,” as laid out in the 25th Amendment.

There is no longer any denying the president is unable to carry out the demands of his office.
