Christmas Eve Eve and I’m watching Star Trek and doing my tax return for 24-25. Not a bad way to spend an evening.
I have also promised myself that I’ll do next year’s tax return in April rather than waiting till almost the last minute. We’ll see.

This might be a surprise to those who know me but I’m on my way to church! Meeting my family at the Nordic Church in Liverpool for a St Lucia celebration. It used to be called the Swedish seamen’s church, or Gustaf Adolfs kyrka, and I was christened there back in the day. Glad Lucia, allihopa!

I’m still sending email requests but seems like I can log into online banking using a certificate. For everything else, I have to request documents by post like it was 1982 again. I understand the need for security but so many people are affected by this and there’s no useful solution.
I ca no longer log into my Swedish bank or pension accounts using the method I’ve used for a decade because I had to update the app and it no longer works if you don’t have Swedish ID. I can’t get Swedish ID. I can’t go back to paper notices because I can’t log in to let them know.
