An awful lot of Euros here (most seem to be Danish, for some reason) seem to think a good response right now is to tell Americans we're all fascists, and that they aren't going to do shit to help us. Would love for any of these soft-ass nerds to take a walk through the graveyards outside Normandy.

For the first time in my life, I'm starting to believe Trump will actually face consequences. It might be that he's finally thrown to the wolves by his oligarch handlers, but it *feels* like the cracks are growing too wide, even for him.

As someone with 40-something friends who keep telling me to "follow the money" but who also talked about nothing but surfing and women and cars until 2017, I can confirm.
one of my strongest beliefs is that we're in our situation right now bc some of the most prominent talking heads (e.g. joe rogan, andrew schulz) are learning about politics in their 40s and 50s, instead of their teens and early 20s, and we have to go along for the ride as they learn basic things

It's pretty insane SCOTUS doesn't have to include vote count in shadow docket rulings. Would love to know how close they came to basically forcing CA secession by invalidating our new Congressional map.
