The guitar solo in Queen’s Coming Soon has Brian May eviscerating the guitar. Sommuch attitude. UsingIK Multimedia ToneX and Raymon Guitars Red Special here.

The guitar break in Queen’s Sail Away Sweet Sister gets quite confusing diring the final harmony sections.

The guitar solo from Queen’s Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy was too complex to render live so Brian May came up with this iteration. It’s still quite difficult!

A Queen deepcut to mark Brian May’s birthday- Ride the Wild Wind from Queen’s Innuendo album.

Fun fact. The first time Queen’s It’s a Hard Life was performed was 28 August 1984 in the RDS, Dublin.

I’m guessing the second time was our soundcheck in the same venue just now!

A rare victory!

I went back to school last year to study Artificial Intelligence.

I just got my results on my final project this evening.

I got a DISTINCTION!!!

I'm absolutely thrilled.

I have to say I can’t remember the last time I saw a gothic horror so well made. Nosferatu managed to shock and abhor in equal measure and still be quite beautiful.

The Lighthouse Cinema in Smithfield are showing it on a 35mm print.

It’s so worth it.

Back in school studying AI.

There are legion philosophy graduates out there who suffered years of “why did you study that?” wringing their hands with glee due to this technology.

When Skynet takes over we’ll at least have had this moment before being converted to bio batteries.

Long story short. We were in the National Museum comparing middle English, old Irish and Norman French so now we’re at home and since she’s a native German speaker she’s comparing old English to German to hear how much she gets.

We are a family of nerds.

Cork’s English market has been their Coddle antidote for two centuries.
They always have an answer.
You are not wrong!
I am offended by that coddle stuff. It may have fuelled ye in 1916...but West Cork was fuelled (to victory) in 19-21 by Sourdough Rye, light roast Coffee and free range Salami. I know which I prefer.

The O’Byrne clan thought they might have a go sacking Dublin. The Walsh clan if Carrickmines Castle carried word of their fiendish plan to Dublin and at once mayor John Drake ordered masses if Coddle prepared at the city walls giving Cook Street its name.
Coddle did more to keep the culchies out of Dublin than any amount of Pale ditch or town walls

This is a guitarviol and this is one layer of a dozen used to recreate Brian May’s introduction to @queenband.bsky.social second album. The track is called Procession and was originally done with guitars.

Quite happy with how this turned out given how poor my bowing is presently.
Practice needed!

Expect lots of guitar solos from this orofile. Lots. Endless self indulgent guitar solos. Impassioned facial expressions. Gaudy colour grading. The Works.
