Setting up Gmail on new devices makes me feel physically ill. Heaven forbid I am starting over and don’t have other devices to verify on. Seriously feel like I’ll throw up after all that. No one email me ever again, let’s switch to carrier pigeon and postcards.

Have you been to Lishh Cafe & Catering in Cork City before? I went for lunch and loved it.

The big reveal! I went with the Jigsaw linen dress and Zara long dress blazer. Reminder that the other dresses shown in my last video AND MORE STYLES are available at @oxfamireland.bsky.social shop on Cook Street.

Needed a dress for my child’s communion and a separate celebration so went to @oxfamireland.bsky.social on Cook Street here in Cork City and tried on these beauties. Which do you think I bought? #sustainablefashion

Do you know of any large old Elms in Ireland?
We're looking for really big old elms which have survived elm disease, despite it spreading everywhere across the country.
Please visit our dedicated website and let us know about any veteran elms out there!

So cosy and colour-coordinated! And the tree pattern! And the stitch markers!

A huge thank you to @brunchcork.bsky.social, a reader from Cork in Ireland, who shared this wonderful photo of their knitting while listening to my latest audiobook.

Spring in Ireland. As opposed to Irish Spring, which makes people think of the bar of soap whose shavings are handy as a garden pest deterrent. #ireland

A little rebrand that has been in the works for awhile now, but today’s the big reveal. What do you think?

Our content will only focus on crunchy foods from now on. Seeking sponsorship from crisp companies and dentists specializing in TMJ. DMs are open.

Tonight, O’Sho hosted a 10th Birthday party for their neighbour Miyazaki Takaway.

I enjoyed a pint of their house IPA with the evening’s tasting menu.

Gathering with new friends & old, we celebrated the community Takashi Miayaki has built.

Here’s to the next 10 years.
🌸 Happy birthday! 🌸

Looks like a typical night out out, right? What if I told you most of the drinks in this video were non-alcoholic? Loving the plethora of sober options available in #corkcity lately. From fancy apple juice at Bayou to mocktails at Fitzgerald’s Bar and at The Stamp Room, we aren’t missing a thing.

My friend June and I were impressed by Fitzgerald’s Bar at The Imperial Hotel Cork’s renovation (from floor to roof everything was restored and upgraded), but the drinks and light bites menu will have us returning for our next girls’ night out. Thanks for having us as your guests for the evening.

Good morning.

if you're struggling to engage with the all the madness at the moment.

Pop your head into your local library, if you can, buy a book from your local bookshop.

And disappear into another world.

Time for a brew.

No gatekeeping! This gem is the best destination for local & fresh fish breakfast, lunch, or take-away in #CorkCity. K. O’Connell’s Fishmonger with Head Chef Kate Lawlor-Lyne at Dunne’s Food Hall on Patrick’s Street. Have you tried it yet?

Are you a US-based business who ships to Canada? Please use USPS instead of UPS.

A $30USD package incurred only $6.70CAD in tax but $33 in UPS customs clearance fees! Same package via USPS would have cost only the tax.

I have to refuse the package and it's a small biz (artist) on the other end. 😪🧶

In BIG Irish news..

The Genoa chipper in Dungarvan is for sale, as the owners are retiring.

One of Ireland’s original and best chippers.

Big shoes to fill for the right people.

( No franchises please !!)

I won't pretend that Amazon's launch of a .ie site is not a threat to many small (and medium sized) businesses here.
It is.
But if I could ask Irish people to do one thing - don't assume that whatever you're buying will always be cheaper there. A monopoly is in no one's interest. #speirgorm
