The big reveal! I went with the Jigsaw linen dress and Zara long dress blazer. Reminder that the other dresses shown in my last video AND MORE STYLES are available at @oxfamireland.bsky.social shop on Cook Street.

Needed a dress for my child’s communion and a separate celebration so went to @oxfamireland.bsky.social on Cook Street here in Cork City and tried on these beauties. Which do you think I bought? #sustainablefashion

Spring in Ireland. As opposed to Irish Spring, which makes people think of the bar of soap whose shavings are handy as a garden pest deterrent. #ireland

A little rebrand that has been in the works for awhile now, but today’s the big reveal. What do you think?

Our content will only focus on crunchy foods from now on. Seeking sponsorship from crisp companies and dentists specializing in TMJ. DMs are open.

Tonight, O’Sho hosted a 10th Birthday party for their neighbour Miyazaki Takaway.

I enjoyed a pint of their house IPA with the evening’s tasting menu.

Gathering with new friends & old, we celebrated the community Takashi Miayaki has built.

Here’s to the next 10 years.
🌸 Happy birthday! 🌸

Looks like a typical night out out, right? What if I told you most of the drinks in this video were non-alcoholic? Loving the plethora of sober options available in #corkcity lately. From fancy apple juice at Bayou to mocktails at Fitzgerald’s Bar and at The Stamp Room, we aren’t missing a thing.

My friend June and I were impressed by Fitzgerald’s Bar at The Imperial Hotel Cork’s renovation (from floor to roof everything was restored and upgraded), but the drinks and light bites menu will have us returning for our next girls’ night out. Thanks for having us as your guests for the evening.

Beautiful visit to One Kinda Folk in Dublin 6.

No gatekeeping! This gem is the best destination for local & fresh fish breakfast, lunch, or take-away in #CorkCity. K. O’Connell’s Fishmonger with Head Chef Kate Lawlor-Lyne at Dunne’s Food Hall on Patrick’s Street. Have you tried it yet?

Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!

@glucksman.bsky.social ’s brief but meaningful Roots & Reflections exhibit is comprised of work from young school-aged artists across Cork. Each artist reflected on the beautiful nature on @ucc.ie ‘s campus then created art. The results are exceptional and a reminder that the kids are alright.

Here is a montage of the many visits I’ve enjoyed with friends and family to Lea’s at the Glucksman this winter. Have you been yet?

Time your table booking so you can stroll in @ucc.ie Glucksman Gallery beforehand or after.

The campus is beautiful, especially in spring. #brunchcork

Our garden has many hiding spaces for wildlife, intentionally. I respect their reclusiveness and desire for privacy, but I’d love to see them occasionally so I know which part of the garden they’ve claimed and to leave it be. And they’re so cute.

Forget roses, I love when my husband surprises me with a bag of treats from Wildflour in Innishannon.

Here’s an ‘unboxing’ video to show their pastries, croissants, and sourdough bread.

Don Gregorio on Washington Street #corkcity is open from 10am on Saturdays & Sundays so you can go enjoy their lush croissant and coffees for yourself. Don’t tell the other cheeses, but mascarpone is my favourite. What’s your preferred croissant filling?

Can food be a hug? Most definitely! Lovely lunch in Lishh Catering today. My hugs-on-a-plate was their seafood crumble served with mash, peas, carrots, and broccoli. Every bite warmed my body & soul.

Love take-away from Umi Falafel to make Monday feel less mundane. I order online then my husband collects it. You can do it too, but without my husband. #corkcity

No trolling, just sharing a glimpse into everyday life here in Cork, Ireland. I’ll admit, I don’t usually buy eggs at Tesco, I get them from Cork Poultry & Game in the English Market. But on a Sunday of a bank holiday weekend if I want to make pancakes, I’vee bought eggs here.

It took me almost decade, but I finally visited the Barack Obama Plaza in County Tipperary. Have you been yet?

Hidden gem for breakfast in #corkcity Ireland… in the K. o’Connell’s spot in the basement of Dunnes on Patrick’s Street. I’ve gone twice now and it is one of the best breakies. Today, got a ready-made meal to pop in my fridge for tonight.

As always, brilliant food at Bayou (Cork City). And would it even be Cork if I didn’t run into someone I knew? Lately, I find lunch dates much easier for our schedules and we can run our weekend errands while out. What do you have planned this weekend?

Ivy’s Attic Marina Market shop is centrally located and has a huge selection of pieces, many unique & not available online! Ideal for Valentine’s or Mother’s Day gifts, as well as graduation, promotion, bridesmaid, and more! Ivy’s Attic’s customer support is brilliant.
