Yo, @housedemocrats.bsky.social - you do know that you have the power to start impeachment preceding, no?
The New York Times reports that the Department of Homeland Security has sent Google, Meta, and other media corporations subpoenas for the names on accounts that criticize ICE enforcement. The department wants to identify Americans who oppose what it’s doing. I’ll save them time.

It's very simple. If two candidates are competing against each other and both are imperfect, but one is manifestly less imperfect than the other, you vote for the one who's less imperfect.
Okay Mr. Adult in the Room, explain to me how browbeating trans people for not voting for a transphobe is the mature thing to do, actually
You see this attitude a lot on Bluesky but it took me until today to put my finger on why it's so tiresome: it's adolescent. There's definitely a logic to it, but it's a very selfish brand of logic which falls apart under any kind of scrutiny. It's the politics of a high school freshman.

In the last week, the brothel has fired three workers who challenged a new contract that they say is unfair. Lawyers have filed an injunction with the federal labor board.

Maybe it’s just me, but if a dude on my national team was caught cheating on video and the cheater shouted obscenities at a dude who called him out, I’d want that dude off the team and on the next plane home. #curling 🥌

There were some (unsourced, bullshit) rumors floating around that the Tigers were thinking of adding him and I’m glad someone else took the flier. I want another bat, but he ain’t it
The San Diego Padres take a flier on recently released OF Nick Castellanos, paying him the minimum $780,000 salary, with the Phillies still responsible for 19.22 million of his salary in 2026. @jonheyman.bsky.social on it.

🧵 worth a read. I think sometimes people forget “accounts” are just people
People don’t really understand the nature of the problem. It’s not lots of little random ankle-biter tweets. That’s annoying but whatever. It’s when hating you becomes this communal pursuit that exists separately from yourself. Like there’s an entire group of people working together to target you.
ignore it. why do you big accounts always complain? it’s like a celebrity complaining they get too much attention in the street. it comes with the territory. just ignore or mute those accounts. it seems you might have a kind of para social relationship back.

I certainly hope these ghouls get what they deserve. But just a friendly reminder, many Nazis did not get justly punished after Nuremberg. And many who did get harsh sentences had them reduced later on. Most Nazis didn’t even face trial, they just went back to their old jobs
They zip tied children!

This administration has not 1 shred of decency or humanity. They lie & attempt to explain their atrocities away.

Let's remind them that even the people who aren't actually committing the brutality will be held accountable.
Remember the Nuremberg trials.
