In the shadow of the steeple I saw my people,
By the relief office I seen my people;
As they stood there hungry, I stood there asking
Is this land made for you and me?

The MAGA Bubble Is Imploding as Americans aren’t buying Trump's gaslighting about the economy. (His approval rating on pretty much everything else is in the sewer, too!) In a free and fair election, Trump loses control of the Congress. It's up to us to make it so.

Resistance works. If We The People lead, the party will follow.
"Zucman puts it more emphatically. “I think democracy versus oligarchy is going to be the battle of the 21st century,” he says. “I don’t know how long it’s going to take for the Democratic Party to actually understand that.”"
“When Citizens United was decided in 2010, billionaires had spent $18 million on the 2000 election, $13M 2004 and $16M in 2008. Then came the deluge. In 2012 it was $231M, and nearly doubled again in next three election cycles —to $682M in 2016, $1.2 billion in 2020 and $2.6 billion in 2024.” Gift:

"The vote signals growing GOP discomfort with Trump's aggressive tariff strategy, and a willingness by some Republicans to buck the president after months of being in lockstep with the White House," Axios reported.

The vote marks first time the House has formally weighed in on Trump's trade agenda.

Ring’s Super Bowl ad exposed a scary truth: the technology in its doorbell cameras could be used to hunt down a lost pet...or a person. Americans oppose this creepy surveillance state. Amazon must discontinue its dystopian monitoring features.

Best place for viewing "Abolish ICE" signs in Brookline is at the Saturday, 1pm Coolidge Corner standout. Bring a sign and bring a friend.
“Abolish ICE” was a rallying cry for progressives during Donald Trump’s first term. It is now so popular among the Democratic rank and file that some think the party will embrace it again

Meanwhile, thanks to his new Tesla pay package, Elon Musk could stand to make $3 billion more per year than all 1.4 million elementary school teachers in the U.S. combined.
