I really thought he was gonna be a free agent at 30, but 31 makes sense too.
Juan Soto's stunning 15-year, $765 million contract does not include a penny of deferrals, and has an opt-out after 5 seasons just in case it's somehow undervalued after the 2029 season.

I think there are two locks out of the first balloters, Ichiro and CC. Felix could make it be but might have to wait since his numbers fell off towards the end
I’d think the only other guy with a shot is K-Rod. Beltran and A-Rod can’t. Torii Hunter is a fun thought for defense but thats about it.
