There desperately needs to be a bluesky version of facebook marketplace; I get so irrationally frustrated that we've just allowed facebook to own the online p2p marketplace

potential message: the GOP is kidnapping and trafficking people for things they MIGHT say

dem message: the GOP might be insider trading—a thing you associate nancy pelosi with—and we're sending them a nice letter asking them for evidence

Ran across an “AI artist” today that put watermarks over all their “art” and I just can’t get over how ironic that is

Yeah, it's worth noting that every single thing that these soft CyberTruck drivers are whining about happens regularly to bicyclists for the egregious sin of simply existing on the road.
several of the things he cites have happened to me as a cyclist.

One reason I think it’s important to continue to highlight the disparity on our streets is that most people just don’t see it.

Despite it being obvious to some, so many people don't have real clarity because we have done such an incredible job of normalizing this imbalance.

We live in the world where cycling to grab lunch is more surprising than driving to walk on the treadmill.

People tell me to be safe while biking, and while I appreciate it, what I'd really appreciate is people going a step further and pondering *why* they think biking is unsafe. Because then they'd have to grapple with the fact that we've designed our society to make biking "dangerous" for many people.

Haven't spun any PCBs in awhile and decided to dip the toes back in the water for a project. I may have been a bit overly-ambitious expecting to be able to hand solder all these 0603 passives

Seriously. I don’t know if any of us are safe, but I feel comforted being in Minneapolis for so many reasons.

If any trans folks need advice on moving here, my DMs are always open.

Biked past as they were hauling the bikes away from the evicted Bryant house. At least one pickup and large trailer absolutely stacked with bikes 💀

I will never understand why the makers of smart light switches have universally decided that instead of the paddle toggling between 2 states that it instead will hover in this ambiguous middle ground. Why always give users 2 possible inputs when only 1 input is ever valid at a time?

Have spent an embarrassing amount of time trying to get a "blink" example working on a CH32v dev board. Turns out the dev board's LED was just soldered backwards 😐

Do you ever look up from locking your bike and think “Wow, our land use in the U.S. is so absurd”?

According to @henrygrabar.bsky.social, by square footage, we have more housing for each car than we have housing for each person.

We should fix that.

As great as the bike infrastructure is in Minneapolis, there is so much room for improvement when it comes to bike infrastructure that connects across city borders
